SKIN TAG 

Skin tags are usually the same colour as the rest of your skin, or a little darker. They can look like they're hanging off the skin. Skin tags are benign skin growths that are commonly found on the neck, axilla region, under the bra area and in the groin. They do not usually hurt and are normally harmless, although many people seek skin tag removal due to the cosmetic appearance of skin tags.

Skin Tag removal is not available via NHS as it is considered cosmetic.

If you have any red flag symptoms, such as skin tag is bleeding, growing rapidly or is painful you should consult your GP in the first instance

Dr Chowdhury will inspect your skin tag before attempting to remove it. He won't perform the removal if he doesn't deem it is safe to do so.
