What is Dermapen 4?
Dermapen 4 is a professional automated microneedling system that uses fine needles moving vertically into the skin to create controlled microchannels.
This controlled stimulation activates the skin’s natural repair response and supports the production and remodelling of collagen and elastin.
Treatment depth and intensity can be adjusted across different areas of the face, neck, body or scalp, allowing treatment to be tailored to the individual rather than using the same settings throughout.

Dermapen 4 for Hyperpigmentation
Hyperpigmentation can develop for many different reasons, including sun exposure, inflammation and changes in melanin production.
In suitable patients, Dermapen 4 can be used as part of a treatment programme to improve areas of uneven pigmentation and overall skin tone.
However, not all pigmentation should be treated in the same way. Some forms of pigmentation can be aggravated by inflammation, particularly in skin prone to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
For this reason, the cause and nature of your pigmentation should be assessed before deciding whether microneedling is appropriate.
Dermapen 4 for Hair & Scalp
Dermapen 4 microneedling can also be used on the scalp as part of a treatment programme for suitable types of hair thinning and hair loss.
Controlled microneedling stimulates a local healing response within the scalp and may help support an environment conducive to hair growth in appropriately selected patients.
Hair loss, however, has many possible causes. Microneedling will not be appropriate for every type of hair loss, and results cannot be guaranteed.
Assessment is therefore important to establish whether scalp microneedling is suitable or whether further investigation or an alternative treatment should be considered.
