PLATELET RICH PLASMA
(PRP)
- Face and Hair Rejuvenation -
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is an autologous treatment made from a small sample of your own blood that’s spun in a centrifuge to concentrate platelets and growth factors. The concentrated plasma is then injected into the target area (scalp, joint, tendon, or skin) to encourage tissue repair and regeneration.
Who we treat / common uses
-
Hair thinning (androgenetic alopecia, some forms of telogen effluvium).
-
Cosmetic uses — facial skin rejuvenation, acne-scar treatment when combined with microneedling.
Evidence varies by indication: strongest and most consistent positive results have been reported for hair loss and certain musculoskeletal conditions; results for facial rejuvenation are mixed. Some studies show modest improvements in skin quality, texture, and wrinkles, with high patient satisfaction.
How the treatment works?
-
We draw a small amount of your blood.
-
Blood is placed in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate platelets.
-
The PRP is prepared and injected into the treatment site (often after local numbing).
Because the product comes from your own blood, risk of allergic reaction is low. Expect a procedure time of approximately 60 minutes.
